I Know the Score – Week 14

It’s been a number of weeks since I earned a lot of points, can I get 90 points this week?

The Merseyside Derby is this Sunday and I predict a 2-2 draw. The big match this weekend is Arsenal v Chelsea, also this Sunday. The Gunners really need a win here and I think they will get it with a 3-2 win. The Saturday match on ESPN 2 is at 10:00am ET and features Portsmouth v Manchester Utd, the Red Devils should win easily.

All the matches this round are played on Saturday and Sunday so look for my result Monday. Have a nice weekend.

Not a great week but not a disaster either.

No correct results this week but more point earners than losers. I doubt anyone correctly predicted Tottenham’s 9-1 win over Wigan. Did the Wigan players refund the fans ticket money? Sunderland’s win against visiting Arsenal cost me points as did Liverpool’s draw with Manchester City. I managed to collect a few points with wins by Chelsea and Manchester United and if their opponents had scored a single goal each then I would of had a couple of correct results.

The Premier League resumes after an international break.

The big match this weekend is Liverpool v Manchester City, Liverpool are tough at Anfield so I predict they’ll win. Manchester United host Liverpool’s local rival Everton, the Red Devils should defeat the Toffees. Wolverhampton travel to face Chelsea, the Blues will win at Stamford Bridge.

Note that there are matches Wednesday this week, I will try to post my results that night or early Thursday morning. Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

I Know the Score – Week 12 Result

Week: 70 points.
Total: 605 points.

Finally a decent result after a few low scoring weeks.

I nailed the Wigan-Fulham 1-1 draw for 30 points, my biggest point gainer this week. I correctly predicted the result in the Wolverhampton-Arsenal match and it was my banker pick so it earned me 20 points. My last pick that garnered me more than 10 points was the Chelsea-Manchester United match, here I correctly predicted the result and point differential for a cool 15 points.

This weekend there are no matches scheduled due to the international break so check back next week for my picks.

Oh bother, it seems I didn’t do a results post for last week.

I apologize but I’m getting ready to do a clean install of Windows 7 so I have been a bit distracted. This post will be brief too. You didn’t miss much I had a very bad week again last week. Wish me luck for this week (and for installing Windows 7).
